The Gasp\u00e9-Picardy for Photography<\/h2>\n

Rencontres has been developing, since 2015, a partnership with Diaphane \u2013 P\u00f4le photographique en Picardie<\/a>. Through that association we work together on showcasing Qu\u00e9bec and French artists, the photographic discipline, and the regions of the Gasp\u00e9 and Picardy.<\/p>\n

This international partnership has made it possible for Qu\u00e9bec artists Jessica Auer<\/a> and Normand Rajotte<\/a> to be welcomed in Beauvais, Picardy, in artist residencies in the spring of 2016. They will be exhibiting at Beauvais during Les Photaumnales, from October 2016 to January 2017. The event will also host the exhibit The Photographic Book<\/em>, curated by Serge Allaire.<\/p>\n

For its part, Rencontres is welcoming French photographer Ambroise T\u00e9zenas<\/a> for a residency in 2016; his work will be exhibited in 2017 at the 8th edition of the event.<\/p>\n

The Gasp\u00e9-Vend\u00e9e<\/h2>\n

Thanks to a collaboration between Rencontres and the Conseil G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Vend\u00e9e in France, Qu\u00e9bec photographer Maryse Goudreau<\/a>, a native of the Gasp\u00e9 region, carried out a research and creative residency on the landscape in Vend\u00e9e in the fall of 2015. French artist Camille Hervouet<\/a>, meanwhile, did a creative residency in the Gasp\u00e9 during the spring of 2016. The two artists will be exhibiting at the Vend\u00e9th\u00e8que in Montaigu<\/a>, France, from July 1 to 27, 2016. And Rencontres will be hosting the exhibit of Maryse Goudreau in the summer of 2016 in the Gasp\u00e9, while Camille Hervouet will exhibit here in the summer of 2017.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
