By way of complex configurations, her work conceptually and poetically explores notions relative to image, object and place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In 2012, <a title=\"Louis Couturier + Jacky Georges Lafargue \u00e0 Murdochville et Bonaventure\" href=\"\/en\/portfolio-item\/louis-couturier-et-jacky-georges-lafargue-a-murdochville-et-bonaventure\/\">Louis Couturier and Jacky George Lafargue<\/a> spent ten days exploring the Murdochville copper mine and photographing that astonishing landscape. In Murdochville and Bonaventure they are presenting, under the title <em>Murdochville: la beaut\u00e9 de la destruction<\/em> (Murdochville: Beauty and Destruction), a series in which those mining landscapes are incorporated onto buildings.<\/p>\n<p>In Saint-Omer, <a title=\"Isabelle Hayeur \u00e0 Carleton-sur-mer (secteur Saint-Omer)\" href=\"\/en\/portfolio-item\/isabelle-hayeur-a-carleton-sur-mer-secteur-saint-omer\/\">Isabelle Hayeur<\/a> is exhibiting <em>Maisons mod\u00e8les<\/em> (Model Homes). Her photographs of modest houses as well as luxury homes are transformed by computer and relocated to a new context. The aggregate is a survey of today\u2019s suburbs, but is also intended as a portrait of society.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Alain Paiement \u00e0 Gasp\u00e9\" href=\"\/en\/portfolio-item\/alain-paiement-a-gaspe\/\">Alain Paiement<\/a>, known for his architectural works made up of images joined together to reconstitute a place, invites us to the Mus\u00e9e de la Gasp\u00e9sie in the town of Gasp\u00e9 to see <em>Sous un autre angle<\/em> (From a Different Angle), which presents laid-out residential interiors and housing.
